Love shall not come from you
in your time of need.
You who shall for now not sing
thy song of dreams so sweet,
will in time be folded into
the dawn of timeless wonder.
Fear not your journey my friend;
fear not your dreams nor your foe.
Timeless is your night-time.
Endless shall be thy dance.
Why in times gone past?
Questions raised with no answers.
Indeed movement sways the weary.
Untold shall be sung.
Forever is not your time.
You are here as the source of all.
Can you not here the rhythm?
Can you not smell the sweet wine?
So many journeys unfold
in a criss-cross of tumbling twine.
Unfolding yields not to those
who puzzle over it.
Forgive me once and
in time we shall proceed.
Forgive me twice and
I have erred again.
Shall I learn in time
thy song from on high.
Is it not silence that speaks
through the highest winds.
Shall I rest tonight, unyielding
to the forces of peril.
Sleep with me and
we shall arise anew.
The old is reborn and
the days are clean.
Sing yea to the unborn.
Sing yea the unsung.
We shall listen and
many shall dance.
Joy comes to the joyous.
Sheep follow the shepherd
into the shearers shed.
Magic shall not come to me
if I remain unseen.
Majesty stands tall
in an empty sky.
Passing clouds pass by.
This is all there is.
This is all.
Sweetness shall touch the sensitive:
those who dare to search the soft winds.
Cloudless mist passing
without the winds of time.
Good may your journey be;
good may be your night be;
good may you be.
You be already that which you are.
You be not your dreams of passion.
You the passing trees on the highway.
Can you not ask me why?
Will I not answer yes?
Trees are passing shades of life;
flowers are passing shades of colour.
That which sees the passing
shall dance forever:
enduring beyond the
veil of dreams.
Who are you my beloved friend?
From whence you have arrived?
To hence shall you go?
I am where I am.
That is where I have come from.
That is where I shall go.
Comings and goings are like waves.
I come and go, yet endlessly I arrive.
I am arriving yet I am already here.
I have gone yet I am still here.
Can you not see me?
I can see you.
In fact I can
see your dreams.
In fact I am you.
Fear not though,
for you am I.
Together shall be this journey of ours.
Lonely shall the alone not be;
it is nigh on impossible my beloved.
Ancient scrolls yield not to your deceptions.
The truth in words is a door.
The doorway is amongst the words,
hidden between the lines.
I pass by you as you pass by me.
I am unseen to those who look away.
I am seen to those who open their hearts.
That which you have done wrong
may in fact be a misunderstanding.
Pass by again when the mind is calm
and your awareness is clear.
You may be surprised.
The answers are hidden;
the dreams are many.
The truth is the unsurpassed.

A Serious Laugh
Wisdom comes not from words.
Though I am an intellectual,
it does not mean I am not wise.
A collection of words
creates a leaning tower.
The wordless silence
yields the leaning tower fall.
Just because I am
paranoid doesn’t mean
they aren’t out to get me.
The fear is all in the mind,
yet mind attracts all fear.
Hiding not from oneself
the critics laugh
as the wise laugh
first at themselves
and then their critics.
In time the wise laughs
and the critics ponder bemused.
A twisted laugh,
a wordless spasm,
such yearnings for the futile,
the wise sit and do
Nothing.
Yet in all of eternity
no winds shall move
even a fine layer
from the mountain
that Is
a wise being.
Though I am an intellectual,
it does not mean I am not wise.
A collection of words
creates a leaning tower.
The wordless silence
yields the leaning tower fall.
Just because I am
paranoid doesn’t mean

Self Infliction
You who fight,
fight for your own slavery.
Your soul will wear the scar
of the suffering to others.
Their suffering is not as deep
as yours of your own doing.
You do not realise that in hurting others,
you cut yourself more deeply;
nor shall a short life grant you mercy.
And even if your body be worn away by age,
you shall still bear the burden of your mistakes –
if they be great enough.
fight for your own slavery.
Your soul will wear the scar
of the suffering to others.
Their suffering is not as deep
as yours of your own doing.
You do not realise that in hurting others,
you cut yourself more deeply;
nor shall a short life grant you mercy.
And even if your body be worn away by age,
you shall still bear the burden of your mistakes –
if they be great enough.
Tired
Most wars only end after exhaustion.
Cannot this energy be transformed –
even if a trench be dug
only to be filled in?
Cannot this energy be transformed –
even if a trench be dug
only to be filled in?
Hot Action
If you commit an act of aggression,
and it be in the name of God or God-willing,
and if there is anger in your being,
then let it be said that you are a fool.
If by the will of god you are moved to action,
then their be a powerful force with you,
yet such power will not consume your being
in an inferno of rage.
and it be in the name of God or God-willing,
and if there is anger in your being,
then let it be said that you are a fool.
If by the will of god you are moved to action,
then their be a powerful force with you,
yet such power will not consume your being
in an inferno of rage.
Love
It be said know thy self.
Yet for some this solitary path not suit.
It be said thy become known
through the other…the path of love;
for in knowing the other,
one sees further and further
into the beyond that is
thy self.
Yet for some this solitary path not suit.
It be said thy become known
through the other…the path of love;
for in knowing the other,
one sees further and further
into the beyond that is
thy self.
The Fool
How can you conquer your self,
when you are busy conquering somone else?
That which is the highest
you seek through that which is the lowest.
Unfortunate are those who look out
at the world with angry eyes.
Foolish are those who act out this rage.
when you are busy conquering somone else?
That which is the highest
you seek through that which is the lowest.
Unfortunate are those who look out
at the world with angry eyes.
Foolish are those who act out this rage.
The Martyr
How can those who fight
know that which they fight for?
They are blind to their inner fight
that hides their inner beauty.
know that which they fight for?
They are blind to their inner fight
that hides their inner beauty.
Possession
In trying to become big –
controlling the worldly –
we become small.
That which we are
cannot be belittled;
nor can it become grand.
The sanctity of life
is not at the mercy
of the prevailing winds.
The world gives us,
and takes away from us,
nothing.
controlling the worldly –
we become small.
That which we are
cannot be belittled;
nor can it become grand.
The sanctity of life
is not at the mercy
of the prevailing winds.
The world gives us,
and takes away from us,
nothing.
True Self
To know thy ego is
to know the false as false.
Self-ish partitions so apparently real
fade away into folly.
Yet to know the Self
is to know truth as truth.
You will lose nothing;
on the contrary,
such richness awaits;
for you will gain all.
Your true Self, your soul,
is the soul of all,
past, present, and future.
to know the false as false.
Self-ish partitions so apparently real
fade away into folly.
Yet to know the Self
is to know truth as truth.
You will lose nothing;
on the contrary,
such richness awaits;
for you will gain all.
Your true Self, your soul,

Steps
The mind sees what it wants to see;
yet the mind cannot see.
Do not be bothered by such travails;
for one day the meandering steps
will wonder their way back home.
yet the mind cannot see.
Do not be bothered by such travails;
for one day the meandering steps
will wonder their way back home.
Fly Away
You shall not leave the nest unsupported.
Your wings are my wings…
this sky is your sky.
Take flight thou friend of freedom;
for by day or night,
you shall know the eternal silence
that lie limitless and waiting.
When you take that precious journey
take courage, and, take flight.
Your wings are my wings…
this sky is your sky.
Take flight thou friend of freedom;
for by day or night,
you shall know the eternal silence
that lie limitless and waiting.
When you take that precious journey
take courage, and, take flight.
Truth
Seek and you will find;
find and you will know;
the way will unfold
as wings on high:
such heights.
Dreams are not dreams,
revelation.
find and you will know;
the way will unfold
as wings on high:
such heights.
Dreams are not dreams,
revelation.
Clarity
Those who know much know little;
and those who know nothing know all.
Fill your hearts with the infinite,
and you shall come to know
that which you are,
and that which you are not.
and those who know nothing know all.
Fill your hearts with the infinite,
and you shall come to know
that which you are,
and that which you are not.
Scope
Those in need seek help,
and if help is not forthcoming,
or worse if ill-advice is forthcoming,
the frightening is all but inevitable.
Where then lies individual responsibility?
If the inner battle waged be left alone,
does evil always triumph over good?
In part the growth in power of weapons
makes the anger of one go to many:
war not waged with bows and arrows.
Yet the anger remains so blinding.
Indeed a troubling time: global terror.
and if help is not forthcoming,
or worse if ill-advice is forthcoming,
the frightening is all but inevitable.
Where then lies individual responsibility?
If the inner battle waged be left alone,
does evil always triumph over good?
In part the growth in power of weapons
makes the anger of one go to many:

Yet the anger remains so blinding.
Indeed a troubling time: global terror.
What is Beauty?
Today three black women
passed my way.
One was short and wide;
one was tall and broad;
one was medium and narrow.
Normally I am wired to believe
only one of these to possess beauty.
However as they passed,
all three had an air of beauty.
The thing is they were
all similarly well dressed.
Normally (or so often) a women
of wide proportion dresses down:
in accordance with her low self-image –
because of being fat. In response,
there is a movement of people
who follow ‘big is beautiful’;
there is a movement of people
who follow ‘the biggest loser’.
What is this opposition
between acceptance and change?
It is that some people
who are naturally not so wide
are wide because food is their comfort
to avoid difficulties,
or to help them through difficulties.
These people will be wide,
have low self-image,
and dress accordingly.
Other people are naturally wide,
have an image, and dress accordingly.
However most people are lost in the confusion!!
The answer is a journey through

After
After a crisis comes understanding…patience.
Awareness gives distance and clarity.
People are our mirrors.
Awareness gives distance and clarity.
People are our mirrors.
Hidden
A person can emigrate to commit murder;
a person can emigrate to commit marriage.
Motive lies hidden from forms,
and often from the informer.

Home
So funny how we
wonder here and there;
looking for this and that;
looking for a friend,
a lover, a home.
That which we look for
resides in us.
We carry our home with us
on all our journeys.
One day, tired, resting,
here it is.
wonder here and there;
looking for this and that;
looking for a friend,
a lover, a home.
That which we look for
resides in us.
We carry our home with us
on all our journeys.
One day, tired, resting,
here it is.
